Delete your account

Applies to the Césped app (Césped LLC) — last updated: 2026-07-29

You can delete your Césped account and its data at any time. There are two ways to ask. What happens next depends on whether you own the business account or are a team member on someone else's.

Option 1 — Delete it yourself in the app

1. Open the Césped app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings (the gear icon in the top bar, or More → Settings).
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
4. Follow the confirmation prompt.

Option 2 — Ask us by email

Email support@cesped.app from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm your identity and process the request.

What happens after you ask

If you own the business account: your account is scheduled for deletion in 30 days. This grace period exists so an accidental or mistaken deletion can be undone.

• During those 30 days you can cancel the deletion by signing in and choosing to keep your account.
• Your subscription is cancelled so you are not billed again.
• After 30 days the deletion is permanent and the data cannot be recovered.
• Deleting the owner account deletes the business and its data for everyone on the team.

If you are a team member (a manager or worker on someone else's business account): your login is removed right away, and this cannot be undone. There is no 30-day grace period, because no business data or subscription is attached to your login. Your past visits stay on the business's record, and the owner can invite you again at any time.

What gets deleted

• Your login and account profile (email address, name, role)
• Your business profile and settings, including your logo and branding
• Customers, service addresses, phone numbers, emails and notes you entered
• Visits and schedule history, routes, and work orders
• Quotes, invoices, payments and expenses
• Job photos and receipt photos
• Team member access to the business

What we keep, and for how long

• Limited records required by law — for example billing and tax records — for as long as the applicable law requires. These are kept only to meet those legal obligations and are not used for anything else.
• Backups — deleted data may remain in routine encrypted backups for a short period before those backups age out on their normal rolling schedule.

Nothing else is retained. We do not sell your data, and we do not keep your business records to build advertising profiles.

Delete only some of your data (without closing your account)

You do not have to delete your whole account to remove information. Inside the app you can delete individual records at any time, and the deletion applies to our servers as well as your device:

• A customer and their history — open the customer, then use the delete option.
• A visit, quote, invoice, payment or expense — open the record and delete it.
• Photos — open the job or receipt photo and remove it.
• A team member's access — remove them in Settings → Manage team.

If you would rather we do it, email support@cesped.app from the address on your account and tell us what you want removed. Records deleted this way are erased on the same terms described above: they are gone from the app immediately, and only the limited records required by law and short-lived encrypted backups are kept.

Export your data first (optional)

Deletion is permanent, so if you want a copy of your records, export them before you delete. In the app go to Settings → Backup and export your data. Quotes, invoices and client history can also be saved as PDFs, and reports can be downloaded as CSV.
